2024 Parade of Playhouses

Description

The Parade of Playhouses is the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City's (KCHBA) spring fundraiser benefiting its Home Builders Charitable Foundation. This event is fun and creative allowing local area High School Career Centers to design and build unique playhouses to be auctioned off to the highest bidder. All proceeds will be donated to Science City. Playhouses will be displayed at Haverty Family Yards at Union Station, from Tuesday, April 9 through Sunday, April 14. The public will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite playhouse via QR codes displayed on each house; the winners will be given Peoples Choice award at the awards luncheon. We will also have a panel of judges that will inspect the playhouses and awards will be presented for Pick of Parade in both the Student and Builder categories, Best in Craftsmanship, and Best in Innovation. There are several partnership opportunities for members to promote their companies to the thousands of people that visit Union Station every day. Contact Jordynn@kchba.org for details.
